Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a story of NRI, searching for his perfect Indian bride, but this tale has something different as the brother searches a bride for his elder brother. The story is about fun filled voyage, power packed performances and lot of drama. Though, the climax is not unexpected one, it takes the audience attention and ends with a positive note. The story is about Ali Zafar who is an NRI and Elder brother of Imraan. Ali breaks up with his girlfriend and resolves to marry an Indian girl by the end of the year. For this, he takes the help of his brother, Imraan, who is an assistant director. He searches for a “Desi” girl and his search ends at none other than our charming Katrina. The beauty, who is Desi at heart and “have been there, done that” type of a character. The girl loves to do wild things and enjoys every moment of her life. The story continues and both the characters fall in love with each other.
Ali Abbas Zafar is the director of this movie. Yash Chopra has produced the movie under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The other prominent names in the movie are Tara D'Souza, Kanwaljeet Singh, Parikshat Sahni, Mahru Sheikh, Brijendra Kala, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Arfeen Khan.
